When I first came across this Shrimp Bisque in my daily food-blog stroll I knew that I had to make it! It tastes absolutely divine and the layers/complexity of this soup are so unusual and absolutely delicious! There is a thickness to this soup because of the roux and then pureed shrimp which is just so filling. The flavors of the thyme and salt and the oranges and everything in this soup is fantastic – eat it & enjoy it!

The Great Blogger Cookie Exchange was awesome! I baked 3 dozen cookies & sent them around the country and in return I received a dozen cookies from each of 3 different bloggers (more on that later).
While we are all here & enjoying cookies, I have a confession to make… I am cookie challenged! Yes, I admit it, I struggle to make cookies (they always stick to the parchment paper or spread too thin or this or that). So I signed up to the Cookie Exchange partially to challenge myself to make a really good cookie! This recipe is everything that a Cookie Should be & even I could not mess it up!
