After Graduating with an Undergraduate Degree in Elementary Education (with minors in Theater & Special Education) from West Chester University, I began my classroom experiences by substituting at every grade level, including long term positions in both 3rd Grade and High School Special Education. I started at Bangor Area School District in 2008 as a Computer Technology Teacher for Grades 5 & 6. In 2010, I earned my Masters in Instructional Technology from East Stroudsburg University. In the Bangor Schools, I quickly became an integral part of not only the technology team, but also a Lighthouse Member for our Leader in Me School. In 2014, I transitioned to becoming a 5th Grade Math/Science/Social Studies Teacher within the district and continued to use my technological background to teach in a variety of ways and help lead as our school became more diverse with the addition of IPads & Apple TVs to our classrooms. Starting in the 2018-2019 School Year, I will be returning to the world of Technology Education as a Elementary Technolgoy Teacher for grades K-4.
